1
Be
greeted on
arrival in
Kathmandu
airport and
transfer to
your hotel in
the Thamel
tourist
district of
the city. Your
designated
guide for the
trip will help
you settle in
and
familiarise
you with the
local area.

Day
2
Your tour
starts with a guided walk from the
hotel in Thamel through small back
streets full of numerous tiny shops,
workshops, temples, and stupas to
Durbar Square with its array of wooden
and stone carved temples and palaces.
After lunch you will visit the
important pilgrimage sites of
Bouthanath Buddhist stupa and
Pasupatinath Hindu temple. We you
drive out of the city to the village
of Nagarkot on the rim of the
Kathmandu valley. Overnight in
Nagarkot. Breakfast included.
Day
3 This
morning you can experience the
spectacular sunrise views from
Nagarkot before taking a walk through
the Tilkot Forest Reserve to the
regions oldest Temple ¨C Changu
Narayan. In the afternoon you visit
the nearby city of Bhaktapur which
offers great opportunities to enjoy
the wonderful traditional wooden
architecture of Buddhist and Hindu
temples. The evening is spent back in
Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 4
Today
you take
a tourist bus to the starting point of
your rafting expedition on the Trisuli
River. Your guides start by giving you
an introduction to the techniques and
team work that you'll need, and then
you start hitting the first proper
rapids. After an exciting afternoon's
rafting, the night is spent camping on
a sandy beach by the river after
eating a hearty dinner cooked by your
guides. Overnight in Rafting Camp.

Day 5 The
morning brings more rafting excitement
as you tackle the biggest rapids of
the trip so far. Soon it is time to
leave the river behind and continue by
local bus to Chitwan National Park.
Upon arrival in Chitwan you settle
into our wildlife lodge before taking
a village walk. Overnight in Chitwan
Lodge. Breakfast, lunch & dinner
included.
Day 6
You spend
today exploring Chitwan National Park
in search of, amongst others, tiger,
rhino and wild elephant. In the
morning you¡¯ll take a walk through the
jungle and enjoy a canoe trip. Later
on, in the afternoon you have the
option of a jeep safari or an elephant
ride. Overnight at Chitwan Lodge.

Day 7
This morning you have a walk dedicated
to bird watching before taking a
tourist bus to Pokhara. Arriving in
Pokhara you check in to your hotel and
the rest of the day is free to relax
and explore this picturesque lakeside
town. Overnight in Pokhara. Breakfast
included.
Day
8 You
will visit various places around
Pokhara today, including Peace Pagoda,
Daryalling Monastery and the Tibetan
refuge camp. The remainder of the day
is free to relax or perhaps take a
rowing boat out on the lake.

Day
9 You
have some free time in Pokhara this
morning before we head to the former
Magar village of Bandipur. There is
plenty of time to explore this
interesting village, with its
traditional bazaar and town centre,
and take walks into the surrounding
countryside. Overnight in Bandipur.

Day
10 Today
you visit the spectacular Gorkha
Durba, a combination of a fort, palace
and temple perched on the top of a
hill on the opposite side of the
valley to Bandipur. Here you should
get excellent views of the Trisuli
Valley and glimpses of the Annapurnas.
You also have a visit to Bandipur
caves today before returning to
Kathmandu for a final evening.

Day 11
You have some free time in Kathmandu
today for some last minute shopping
and exploring before transferring to
the airport for departure. Breakfast
included.
